Alef is a culinary and hospitality company founded by Elad Cohen and Dani Fattal. Elad and Dani met over five years ago while working together at Apotheke, a cocktail bar in downtown Manhattan. After quickly discovering that the two share a similar family background, they started to cook together on a weekly basis. What started out as a fun experiment soon escalated into a full blown business. The two share a deep passion for the flavors and techniques of the Middle East and have spent countless hours replicating and riffing off classic Levantine dishes.
